We collaborated with South Australia-based Palestinian multidisciplinary designer, Ahmed ElKhalidi to create this limited edition candle to raise funds for emergency and medical relief in Palestine.  ElKhalidi is known for vibrant digital illustrations that often layer typography with agricultural symbols, like citrus and olive trees.  

OLIVE & HEART's watermelon scent fills a pearl iridescent jar that shimmers against light at different angles. Label art by Ahmed ElKhalidi includes bright rows of watermelon with a cutout of the Arabic word for love, حب (hub), in the center.  Inside the Arabic lettering and surrounding the illustration border is Dr. Cornel West's famous quote, "justice is what love looks like in public".

Allow the melted wax to fully dry after your first burn.

On every new burn: trim the wood wick to 1/8 of an inch

Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

Trimming the wick makes for a safer, cleaner burn, prolongs candle life, ensures your scent remains strong & prevents your flame from getting too high.
